Poynton Relief Road opens to traffic after eventful ribbon-cutting ceremony
The Poynton Relief Road fully opened to traffic on Monday 6 March, following an eventful ribbon-cutting ceremony three days earlier.

On Friday 3 March, the mayor of Cheshire East, Councillor David Marren cut the green ribbon to mark the completion of the £53m highways scheme which is designed to take heavy through traffic out of Poynton village.
