Duplicate Birth, Death, Marriage and Civil Partnership Certificates
The registration service is currently only able to offer a limited Duplicate Certificate service.
How to order a copy certificate
If the Birth, Death or Marriage/ Civil Partnership took place on or before 31 December 2019 you need to register with the General Register Office to get a copy certificate.
If the Birth, Death or Marriage/ Civil Partnership took place on or after 1 January 2020 you can submit an application using the relevant link below:
If you are applying for a marriage certificate for a marriage that took place in a religious building on or after 4 May 2021, submit the Apply for a marriage certificate after a religious wedding in Cheshire East.
