Adults Social Care – Care Finder’ Privacy Notice

The Citizen eBrokerage service “Care Finder” available through Cheshire East Council helps residents to find care services and providers of those services online. It will ask you to complete a simple set of requirement questions which are then shared with a range of relevant providers.

Providers will respond to you online, allowing you to compare and choose which provider is most suitable to support your needs.

Care Finder asks you a several requirements questions in order understand your care needs.  The answers you give will be shared with all care service providers held in the Cheshire East Live Well service directory that offer support through Care Finder.

Please make sure that you are happy to share your answers with all of the care service providers before submitting your request.

Care Finder gives you the ability to message care providers online if you wish to further clarify any requirements you may have around your care needs. Please make sure you do not share any personally identifiable or sensitive information using this messaging service.

If you purchase any care services from care providers you find through Care Finder your legal rights will be enforceable against the care provider and not Cheshire East Council.

All data will be kept for 2 years for audit purposes.
