Emergency planning for event organisers

The Joint Emergency Planning Team provides advice and guidance to event organisers on major incident planning, training and exercising. In the event of a major incident the Emergency Planning Team would be the first point of contact for the emergency services should they require services from the local authority. These services would include the provision of survivor reception centres, rest centres, emergency feeding, transport and a range of specialist equipment.
