River Clean Up and volunteering day

After a great community led river clean up in 2022, we've are made this an annual event and hope to attract more people to come and join in.

In partnership with local church groups and Mersey Rivers Trust, we will be concentrating on the river itself, clearing the riverbed of litter such as shopping trolleys, traffic cones and plastic and putting in some riverbank defences in the form of Willow spiling.
