Alderley Edge Neighbourhood Plan

Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Alderley Edge Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 24 June 2016.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 27 January 2020 and the 9 March 2020. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 2 October 2020 and the 13 November 2020. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 23 November 2020 and the 18 January 2021.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 28 January 2021. Local referendum on the Plan took place on the 6 May 2021, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The decision to make the Plan was decided on the 28 July 2021.
