Gawsworth Neighbourhood Plan

Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Gawsworth Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 16 February 2016.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 13 November 2019 and the 31 December 2019. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 28 July 2020 and the 8 September 2020. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 29 September 2020 and the 2 November 2020.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 25 November 2020, and local referendum on the Plan took place on the 6 May 2021, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The Plan was made on the 28 July 2021.
