Information
The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with High Legh Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 27 August 2013.
Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 12 April 2021 and the 30 May 2021. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 5 July 2024 and the 16 August 2024. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 5 September 2024 and the 29 October 2024.
Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 29 October 2024. Local referendum on the Plan took place on the 19 December 2024, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The decision to make the Plan was decided on the 8 January 2025.
