Newhall Neighbourhood Plan 

Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Newhall Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 21 February 2017.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 26 April 2019 and the 16 June 2019. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 2 August 2019 and the 13 September 2019. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 25 September 2019 and the 27 November 2019.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 20 December 2019. Local referendum on the Plan took place on the 27 February 2020, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The decision to make the Plan was decided on the 6 April 2020.
