Shavington Neighbourhood Plan

Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Shavington Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 17 August 2016.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 13 April 2019 and the 5 June 2019. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 28 July 2020 and the 8 September 2020. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 11 September 2020 and the 11 December 2020.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 4 January 2021. Local referendum on the Plan took place on the 6 May 2021, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The decision to make the Plan was decided on the 28 July 2021.
