Information
The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Sound and Broomhall Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 11 March 2019.
Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 23 August 2021 and the 4 October 2021. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 6 July 2022 and the 17 August 2022. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 31 August 2022 and the 14 October 2022.
Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 24 October 2022. Local referendum on the Plan took place on the 8 December 2022, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The decision to make the Plan was decided on the 11 January 2023.
