Styal Neighbourhood Plan

Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Styal Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 21 September 2023.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 5 February 2024 and the 18 March 2024. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 5 August 2024 and the 17 September 2024. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 4 October 2024 and the 21 November 2024.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 6 January 2025, and local referendum on the Plan took place on the 6 March 2025, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The Plan was made on the 10 March 2025.
