Registration Service compliments and complaints

The Registration Service is committed to delivering an excellent customer service to all of our customers, as set out in the Customer Charter.

If you wish to make a complaint about the Registration service please use the Council complaints procedure

Customer satisfaction

We receive regular feedback from our customers. Customers let us know they are satisfied with the service received by sending complimentary letters or emails and positive comments using feedback forms.

Where customer dissatisfaction with the service is received, either by complaints or negative feedback, we use this as an opportunity to improve our services. It is important for us to have feedback from customers so that if we get things wrong, we can put things right in the future.

The number of compliments and positive comments received far outweigh the numbers of complaints and negative comments.

What will happens after a complaint

We strive to resolve complaints to the best of our ability. If the service you receive does not meet your expectations, please tell us by completing a feedback form (available at the Register Office). If you wish to make a formal complaint about the registration service, please write to:

If you wish to make a complaint about another part of Cheshire East council please use the Council complaints procedure (please do not email the registration service unless you are complaining about this particular service).
