Basford East Development New Primary School- update
Construction and opening of the new primary school on Basford East development, Shavington has been delayed.
The new primary school, on the Basford East housing development, was due to open in September 2025 but due to unforeseen circumstances, beyond the Authority’s control, the build programme has been delayed.
A report presented to the Children and Families Committe on 11 December 2023 gives further detail.
