Star Celebration Day 2024

Star celebration day is an annual event to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our cared for children and care leavers.

 

Icons and Idols themed

This year the event will be held on Sunday 24 November, and following a consultation with children and young people, the theme for this year’s event will be “Icons and Idols”.

So, get ready to impress with your glamorous attire, or even dress up as your favourite character! We will be rolling the red carpet out for our cared for children and care leavers at this important event.

We need your help in recognising the talents of all cared for children and care leavers in Cheshire East, and this event is one way we can come together in celebration.

It’s really simple to nominate a child or young person:

1. Think of three things you want to celebrate about the child or young person. For example, are they good at art or football? Have they raised money for charity? Have they cared for and supported another member of their family. Whatever their achievements, large or small, we want to know.
2. Complete this nomination form before Friday 18 October
3. Your words of support will be used to personalise each child’s certificate which will be presented to them at the event on 24 November
