Operating hours

AMHP Service daytime

Monday to Thursday 9:00am and 5:00pm

Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm

Referrals received after 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 3:30pm Friday via the portal, where possible will be triaged and planned for the next day or diverted to the Emergency duty Team if appropriate.

If you are making an urgent referral close to the times the AMHP Service hands over to Emergency Duty Team (EDT) also follow this up with a phone call to ensure the referral is received (and in case further information is required)

Out of hours

Referrals outside of AMHP Service hours should be directed to the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) on 0300 123 5022. The AMHP Service number is also redirected to EDT after 17:00hrs. EDT service remains unaffected and will not be taking referrals via this Portal.
