Cheshire East autism team attend the Crewe Mayor’s Ball

The Cheshire East autism team (CEAT) had the honour of being invited to the Crewe Mayor’s Ball in April.

The mayor’s chosen charity is Autism Inclusive. He wanted to support and celebrate the work that they do to support families, children, and young people with autism. 

Janet Threader and Sue Scarle from  CEAT run drop-ins for parent/carers at Autism Inclusive in Crewe. They provide practical advice and strategies and an understanding ‘listening ear’. Parents and carers come away feeling heard, supported, and empowered. Both ladies were thrilled to receive an invitation to the ball. It was so lovely to have their contribution recognised and included in the celebration of all the good work done by this wonderful charity. The evening was glamorous and fun – lovely food, great dancing and good company!
