Pupils with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHC Plan) transitioning to Primary or Secondary School in September 2024

The transition process for pupils with an Education Health and Care (EHC) Plan, who are due to move to primary or secondary school in September 2024, is currently underway.

Parents and carers are encouraged to submit preferences by 20 October 2023.

Parents and Carers will receive a copy of the EHC Plan naming the new placement by 15th February 2024 (statutory deadline). The Final EHC Plan is confirmation of the agreed placement. Parents and carers are not required to do anything further.
