Sensory Inclusion Team newsletter out now

The latest Cheshire East Sensory Inclusion Team newsletter is out now and includes inspirational stories about children and young people who are supported by the service. The team supports children and young people with hearing and visual impairments in the borough’s primary and secondary schools. 

This month, the team has an update from Marth about her first year living with Merlin the cockapoo hearing dog. And there’s also a chance to learn about the Winter Paralympics success of former student Menna Fitzpatrick who won two medals at the recent games in Pyeongchang in China. Wilmslow High School pupil Immy also provides insight into the Youth Vibe group which she attends.  

The online newsletter (PDF, 702KB)  also includes some staff updates, including the retirement of two long-serving team members, as well as local event news and updates from groups in the area.
