Young people welcome to our ‘Jigsaw’ youth forum

Jigsaw is the name of our SEND youth forum - a group that any child or young person with additional needs can attend from the age of 13.

At the forum children and young people can have their say and make positive changes about services that affect their lives.

They are also able to make new friends, take part in fun activities including life skills and work closely with professionals.

Recently Jigsaw took part in an activity day in Macclesfield.  Young people took part in arts and crafts, Taskmaster challenges, pool competitions and games.

New young people joined the group, and they had the chance to meet Councillor Carol Bulman, the vice chair of the Cheshire East Council children and families committee.

The next steps for the group are to develop their 2022 campaign on mental health. If you or anyone you know would like to get involved, then please contact the team.

Jigsaw meet every Thursday from 6-8pm alternating between Macclesfield and Crewe (with the option to join online.)
