The links below will display the different maps available. Once the map has loaded, use the menu icon (3x3 grid near top left) to turn layers on or off. Within the map menu screen, click on the name of any layer to select the layer. This will display the map legend for the selected layer and you can also move the slider control to adjust the transparency of that layer (where 1=completely transparent, and 0=completely opaque) - this may be useful if map layers are obscuring each other or the base map. Please note that some map layers may take time to load. Overview map shows main rivers, ordinary watercourses, priority areas, United Utilities boundary, and 8m river buffers. Flood zones map, shows Flood Zone 3b (functional floodplain) and EA Flood Zone 3 and Flood Zone 2. Historic flooding map, shows EA recorded flood outlines and historic flood map. Flood risk management, shows flood risk management areas and raised flood walls and embankments. Working with natural processes, shows natural processes and run-off attenuation features. Risk of flooding from surface water, shows areas of high, medium and low risk. Risk of flooding from rivers and sea, shows areas of high, medium, low and very low risk. Groundwater flooding,shows areas at risk of surface and subsurface flooding. All mapped Strategic Flood Risk Assessment layers, shows all of the above.
