Support for those with disabilities or complex needs
For individuals who may need more tailored support - such as those with disabilities, learning difficulties, or other complex needs - the council’s Supported Employment team can provide more specialised support to people who have disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and other complex needs. The team also works closely with employers to ensure any necessary workplace adjustments are made, helping to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
Young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
Young people aged 16 to 24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) can also benefit from supported internships. These structured programmes combine real work experience with training in employability skills, helping young people transition smoothly into paid employment.
Whether you're looking for full-time work, part-time roles, volunteering opportunities, or training to boost your skills, Cheshire East is a great place to work towards your goals.
