Training for employers
We want to be able to provide more support to employers, to help them feel empowered, informed, and supported, when recruiting people with a disability or who are neurodiverse. In turn, this will provide more opportunities for people with additional needs to access the work force. These are people who want to work hard, are reliable, and can add so much to any work force if given the opportunity.
‘In 2021/22, 4.8% of adults with a learning disability in England were in paid employment, according to the Nuffield Trust’.
We have seen numerous young people transition from the Supported Internship programme into paid work. This has given employers the opportunity to discover untapped talent, which is making a huge difference to both productivity, as well as team morale and retention.
Training
Our free online training suite of Supported Employment training modules supports you as an employer to feel empowered about recruitment, inclusion, and getting the best from your workforce.
Our learning modules include Myth Busting, A Guide to Reasonable Adjustments and Autism Awareness. All 3 of these modules can be accessed as individual units, taking about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

We are currently working on the release of 2 more units, which will be released before May 2025. These units include Access to Work and Inclusive Recruitment.
